Cardiff Metropolitan University: The history of Cardiff Metropolitan goes back to 1865 when the School of Art first opened in the Old Free Library in Cardiff. Cardiff Metropolitan University campuses
There are 3 campuses in Cardiff Metropolitan University:
- Cyncoed campus:
Cyncoed is home to the Cardiff School of Education & Social Policy and the Cardiff School of Sport & Health Sciences (Cyncoed). This campus administers on-site accommodation and a different Campus Centre. The Cyncoed campus provides excellent sporting buildings, on-site shops, and cafes. This campus also operates as the origin office for the Students' and Athletics Union.
- Llandaff campus:
Millions of pounds were recently invested in this campus. It offers cutting edge learning buildings for the students. Llandaff campus provides great sporting departments, student union, on-site shops, cafes, including Costa and Starbucks. The campus is located about two miles from the city centre, circled by various parks, playing areas, and the historic village of Llandaff.
This campus is also conveniently positioned near the Plas Gwyn residential campus.
- Plas Gwyn residential campus:
Plas Gwyn is a residential campus with private accommodation.

In February/March CardiffMet holds a Global Week which is a commemoration of cultural diversity on campus.
Other activities such as excursions during the year, city tours to places such as London and Bath are an exceptional way to make new friends and enjoy yourself.
